From time to time some folks have questioned why we accept only
cash and cashiers checks on bullion. We are charged a percentage
or fee when we accept any bank card whether it is a debit or credit
card and since we work on such a close margin on bullion, we don't
want to give up any of our minimal profit to do so. We work on
less than 1% on larger bullion deals and some credit cards cost us
3% or more to take so we'd lose money on the sale. That doesn't
work for us...hence, cash/cashiers checks only on bullion!
